Labor Rates: Permissions and Rules

Permissions

There are two permissions regarding labor rates. Navigate to Admin, then select permissions. Under the permissions General tab, scroll down to Labor Rates.

  • Manage Labor Rates - will allow you to adjust the labor rates for any agent within the user profile

  • View Labor Reports - will allow you to view the Labor Report page under the Users section on the left-hand nav

  • View Labor Summary - will allow you to view the labor summary of an agent on a ticket and in the user profile

    • If a user has permissions to View Labor Summary, they should be able to:

      • View the Labor summary on a ticket (that includes hourly rates)

      • View Cost Summary of the ticket (widget in lower right-hand corner)

      • View Labor Rates widget on User Profile

Rules

In Rules, the Add labor action is available under the Tickets section of the Add Action dropdown for the Ticket Created and Ticket Updated rule triggers.

Selecting Add Labor from the dropdown will pull up the Labor table (Agent, Labor Type, Notes, Effort (h/m)).

You must select + Add Labor Record, allowing you to determine the labor details for that rule.
