Labor rates are defined on each user profile and will define what labor types can be used for that user on a ticket.
Applying Individual Labor Rates
Navigate to Users > Users Explorer and filter the list of users to find the user to apply a Labor Rate Type.
Clicking on the user to open the Users Profile page. Here you can see the User Labor Types & Rates section under the profile section.
Creating New Labor Types and Rates
To enter a new Labor Type and Rate, select Add Labor.
Next, select the Labor Type and enter the Hourly Rate.
You have the ability to add multiple labor types and rates to a single user's profile.
Edit Labor Type and Rates
If labor type(s) and hourly rate(s) need to be edited, simply navigate to the user profile page. Navigate to the labor types and rates section. Click Edit Labor. Next, you are able to edit the existing labor types or hourly rates, as well as add new labor types and rates.
Clicking the trashcan icon on the right will delete the entry for that user.
Deleting a labor rate from a user will remove that labor type from the drop-down when adding that user’s labor to a ticket.
Applying in Bulk
Apply rate types and rates individually to a single user, or to save time, filter the user view by groups of agents or teams (electricians, HVAC employees, custodians, etc.), and change rates for groups or multiple users in bulk. Select the checkboxes to the left of each user. Next, select Other > Set Labor Rate.
Here, you can add a Labor Type and Hourly Rate. If needed, multiple Labor Types and Rates can be added. Once complete, click Update Users.
The system asks for confirmation that the user wants to proceed with the updates.
The labor rates are now applied to the selected group of users. If a user already has an hourly rate associated with the same labor type that is being bulk updated, the change will override the original, hourly rate. If a user does not have the labor type that is being updated assigned, the labor type and hourly rate will be added to the user’s existing assigned labor type(s).
