Defined Permission Options

Disclaimer: You will receive multiple notifications before and after your district is scheduled to be migrated to the Enhanced Permissions. Please note that this is a phased rollout plan, and our team has carefully planned the process for each district. This knowledge base guide applies to the districts that have access to the enhanced permissions.

Allows users the ability to create announcements. Users can edit their own announcements, but cannot edit those created by others.

Allows users the ability to manage all announcements. It provides access to the Announcements and Settings tabs.

Additional Required Permission: View Apps Left Nav, View Announcements App, and Create Announcements.

View Announcements App

Allows users to access the Announcements app with view-only access without exposing other installed apps or account-level app management.

Apps Administration

Manage Apps & Integrations

Reveals Apps on the left navigation.

Allowing users to access the Incident IQ App Catalog and manage all apps and integrations.

Assets

Reveals the basic Check In/Out feature on the left navigation and the ability to assign assets on the asset details page.

Batch Check in/out

Allow users direct access to Deployment (Rollout Scout) abilities without needing any dependent Asset permissions to be active.

Create Assets

Reveals the Create Asset button on the left navigation and the top right corner on the Asset Explorer page.

Delete Assets

Reveals Delete Assets on the left navigation, and Delete Asset in the "Options" dropdown on the Asset Details page.

Please note the bulk action Delete Asset will be visible to all users. However, users are unable to perform this action without this permission option.

Allows users to view, create, edit, delete, and apply Policies.

Allows users to bulk update users' Permissions and Set Roles in bulk actions.

Manage Required Fields

Allow users to view, create, edit, and delete Required Fields.

Allow users to change the priority level of tickets by selecting the priority level at the top of a ticket or selecting More > Change Priority.

Please note the bulk action Change Priority will be visible to all users. However, users are unable to perform this action without this permission option.

Delete Ticket

Allow users to delete a ticket by selecting More > Delete from a ticket or using the bulk action.

Edit Due Date

Allow user to set/edit Due Date field on tickets.
