The Status Board app enables administrators and agents to display service status updates (e.g., slight/moderate interruption, or unavailable).
Integration Note: The Status Board app does not integrate with third-party applications and requires manual updates within Incident IQ.
Installing the Status Board App
Navigate to the left-hand menu and select Incident IQ Apps.
Click the Browse tab.
Locate and select the Status Board App under the Utilities section (or search for it in the search bar).
Click Install.
Follow the prompts: click Continue for steps one and two, then click Install App on step three.
The app is now successfully installed.
Managing Services
Before adding a service message, you must define the service.
Navigate to Incident IQ Apps > Manage tab in the left-hand navigation.
Click Manage on the app listing.
Open the Services tab and click Manage Services in the top right corner.
Click +Add New in the bottom left corner.
Enter the service name, click Add, and then click Save.
Note: You can rename, delete, or disable services from the Manage Available Services screen.
Adding a Service Message
Under the Services tab, click +Add Service Message.
Complete the following fields:
Service(s) Affected: Select the affected services from the drop-down menu.
Status: Select the service status (low, medium, or high).
Additional Service Notes: Add any relevant details for users.
Additional Options: Toggle on to disable this message.
Click Save.
Note: Changes made in the app may take up to 30 minutes to show to all users.
Settings Tab
The Settings tab provides an HTML snippet for rendering status boards on external websites. You can also configure where the status board banner displays and set visibility permissions based on user roles:

Editing or Deleting a Service Message
To Edit: Click the Edit icon in the Options column, update your details, and click Save.
To Delete: Click the Delete button in the Options column to remove the message.
