Installing Mosyle Manager MDM

The Mosyle Manager integration app is designed to allow school districts to create, manage, and automatically assign assets to students in Incident IQ by utilizing Mosyle asset data. In addition, this will allow agents and admins to view an asset’s metadata in one convenient location. This includes basic device information, OS and firmware versions, and other data that agents may find helpful while working on a ticket.


Installing Mosyle Manager

To install the Mosyle Manager integration, begin by clicking on Incident IQ Apps > Browse on the left sidebar. Next, under the Asset Management section, click on Mosyle Manager.


From here, select Install and follow the steps to complete the installation.


Once installed in Incident IQ, you must click on Manage App Settings.

In the Authentication section, you will enter your Username, Password, and JWT authentication token. Enter these fields to give Incident IQ access to your Mosyle asset data.

Please note: if you are using a free version of Mosyle, Incident IQ will not be able to integrate. You can export your assets into a CSV file and import them into Incident IQ through our importing tool.

Username will be the email of the Mosyle account.

Note: You may log into Mosyle using your SSO, however, the password will need to be the one tied to the Mosyle Account.

As of February 8, 2024, the Mosyle MDM integration must be authenticated using the JWT authentication token credentials.

Next, you will need to run a sync. Navigate to the Overview Tab and click Start Full Sync. This will accomplish the following:

  • Establish a connection between Incident IQ and Mosyle asset information.

  • Allows Incident IQ to see what models are available in your Mosyle. This is necessary to set up automatic asset creation.
