FAQ - How do you send Welcome Emails to current employees?

After onboarding with Incident IQ, you are now ready to invite your users to login to their account. Here at Incident IQ we want to make it as simple and seemly as possible to introduce Incident IQ to your current employees.

Within our platform, you have the ability to send a default welcome email to your employees. This email introduces your employees to Incident IQ and provides access to all of the training and help documents they need to successfully use iiQ.

Before sending these emails to your employees, there are a couple of site options to call out.

  • Email notification “From” address - Customize your preferred username to add before the default domain name.

  • Email notification “From” name - Customize your preferred name to use for your Incident IQ email notifications.

Manually Bulk Send Welcome Emails

After making your customizations, you are ready to bulk send welcome emails to your current employees. To complete this process, navigate to the User Options / Login section within Site Options.

To the right of Auto-Send Welcome Emails, enter the roles for the employees you wish to send welcome emails to.

Then, select Manually Send Welcome Emails. This tool will send welcome emails to all users within the selected roles who have not yet received a welcome email. As new employees in the selected roles join your school district throughout the school year, they will automatically receive the welcome email once their account is created within iiQ by your SSO nightly sync.

Manually Resend Welcome Emails to Specific Users

If you would like to resend a welcome email to a specific user, navigate to that user via User Explorer. Then, select Actions > Send Welcome Email.
