iiQ Resources - User Filters

When accessing the Users Explorer or any grid view of Users within iiQ Resources, users will find a variety of additional filter options available that are specific to the iiQ Resources module. These advanced filtering capabilities allow for a more precise and tailored view of user data, enabling you to narrow your views based on specific criteria.

These are specific to iiQ Resources and exist under the ‘Asset ownership filters’ category.

  • Has Any Asset

    • This filtering option allows you to generate reports in iiQ Resources that display users who have at least one asset assigned to them in the iiQ Resources module. You can also create a report of users who do not have any assets assigned by selecting the "Exclude" checkbox.

  • Has Asset Name

    • This filter creates a list of users who have or do not (using the exclude option) have assets assigned to them, identified by the Asset Name or the inherited Model Name value of the item.

      • Use Case: You would like to see all teachers who have checked out the Biology Teacher Manual - Version 2018 (the version is no longer allowed by the state and needs to be returned within 30 days).

      • Use Case: You would like to see all 4th-graders who don’t have the “Reading with Us” textbook at Amethyst Elementary School, or Math teachers without Math books.

  • Has Asset with Due Date

    • This filter can generate a list of users that do or do not have an asset(s) assigned to them, indicated by their Due Date. Specific dates, specific date ranges, moving dates, and moving date ranges are supported for filtering. If the Exclude Selected checkbox is checked, the filter will show the list of all users who have items checked out to them, with the due date that does not fall into the selected range.

  • Has ISBN-10

    • This filter generates a list of users who do or do not have an asset(s) assigned to them, indicated by the item's ISBN-10 number. If the Exclude Selected checkbox is checked, the filter will show the list of all users who do not have selected items.

Selecting multiple ISBN-10 numbers is allowed, and the filter will return users who have any of the selected ISBN-10 numbers, not necessarily all of them.

  • Has ISBN-13

    • This filter generates a list of users who either have or do not have assets assigned to them, indicated by the item's ISBN-13 number. If the Exclude Selected checkbox is checked, the filter will show the list of all users who do not have selected items.

Selecting multiple ISBN-13 numbers is permitted, but the filter will return users who have any of the selected ISBN-13 numbers, not necessarily all of them.

  • Has Title

    • This filter can generate a list of users that do or do not have an asset(s) assigned to them, indicated by the item's Title. If the Exclude Selected checkbox is checked, the filter will show the list of all users who do not have selected items.

Selecting multiple unique titles is allowed, and the filter will return users who have any of the selected titles, not necessarily all of them.

  • Has Assigned Device

    • This filter can generate a report of users with at least one IT asset assigned to them. It will also support exclusionary cases to filter users without at least one IT asset assigned to them.
