Rapid Scan

The Rapid Scan feature, introduced in iiQ Assets, allows agents to quickly access asset information from anywhere in Incident IQ using a barcode scanner. If an asset tag or serial number is scanned, the Quick Actions pop-up window will appear.

The rapid scan feature is usable from any Incident IQ page.

The Quick Actions window provides the following options:

  • Go to the asset’s details page using View Asset.

  • Edit Asset information.

  • Assign asset ownership using Check In/Out.

  • Use the Submit Ticket button to generate a new ticket for this specific asset.

  • See the ticket history of this asset with View Tickets.

  • Audit an asset using Verify.
