Installing Infinite Campus SIS

The Infinite Campus SIS Integration allows administrators to seamlessly integrate Infinite Campus SIS data with Incident IQ by automating data uploads. This enables efficient management of sync and mapping options for users, groups, and locations across both programs in a single location.

Prerequisites

Before beginning the app installation process in Incident IQ, you must first enable vendor access in Infinite Campus.

OneRoster 1.1

  1. Go to the Learning Interoperability tool or click Add Application.

  2. Expand the OneRoster 1.1 Connections section.

  3. Click Generate New OneRoster 1.1 Credentials. This creates credentials that are enabled by default.

  4. Note: Renew is enabled by default. Toggle this setting to No to disable it.

OneRoster 1.2

  1. Go to System Administration > Learning Interoperability.

  2. Select Other OneRoster Provisioning Credentials.

  3. Under OneRoster 1.2 Connections, click Generate New OneRoster 1.2 Credentials.

Infinite Campus Credentials: Your API URL, token URL (Required for OneRoster 1.2 only), consumer key, consumer secret, and token expiration date (Required for OneRoster 1.1 only).


Installing the App

  1. Navigate to Incident IQ Apps > Browse in the left-hand navigation.

  2. Locate the desired SIS app and select Install.

  3. Follow the steps to complete the installation.


Review Overview

Review the installation overview and select Continue to proceed.


OneRoster Configuration

  1. Enter the following required details:

    • URL ending in v1p1 or v1p2 - This depends on the OneRoster Version

    • Token URL - only for OneRoster Version 1.2

    • Consumer Key

    • Consumer secret

    • Expiration Date (Only for OneRoster Version 1.1)

  2. Validation: Click Validate & Save.


Identify Locations

The system will automatically attempt to map Infinite Campus locations to existing Incident IQ locations.

  • Locations that fail to map automatically will be highlighted in orange.

  • Manually select the correct location for any highlighted items. While optional, it is highly advised to ensure all locations are mapped correctly.

Once installed in Incident IQ, click Manage App Settings to configure settings and run your first data sync.
