Assets
Facilities
Resources
You can print a label for a single asset or multiple labels for several assets.
You must have the ‘View Asset List & Details' permission to print Asset Labels.
You must have the ‘View Users List & Details’ permission to print User Labels in bulk.
You must have the ‘Manage Users’ permission to print User Labels individually.
Printing Asset Labels
You must have the ‘View Asset List & Details' permission to print Asset Labels.
Single Asset Labels
To print a label for a single Asset from the Asset Details page, select Options > Print Asset Label.
Another way is to select the checkbox for an Asset on the Assets grid and then choose Other > Print Asset Labels.
The Print Asset Labels window will open.
First, select a label template from the dropdown menu. This menu displays the existing asset label templates that have been created. Selecting a label template is required. Otherwise, the Print Asset Labels button won’t be activated.
After selecting the template, choose 1 label per page and click 'Print Asset Labels'. This will print one label on a single sheet.
A printing dialogue with the preview will open on a separate tab, where you can select a printer, All/Custom pages, and the Black and White/Color printing options. The label with a barcode will be displayed on a separate sheet.
Expand the More settings dropdown to adjust more settings, such as paper size, pages per sheet, margins, and scale, and print with headers and footers or background graphics.
The displayed browser printer settings will utilize the linked printer(s) to the machine, including the driver configuration settings.
Selecting the Print using system dialog…(Ctrl+Shift+P) will open the system dialog with similar print settings options.
The label will appear in the top left corner of the page.
The label printing feature currently does not support automatic positioning for subsequent labels on a sheet. This means that after printing a label in the top-left position, the next label does not automatically shift to the next available spot, such as the top-middle or top-right position. As a workaround, you can turn the sheet upside down and print another label in the top-left corner, utilizing two labels per sheet.
Multiple Asset Labels
To print multiple labels for multiple Assets at once, check the checkbox for numerous assets on the Assets grid view and then select Other > Print Asset Labels.
The Print Asset Labels window will open.
First, select a label template from the dropdown menu. This menu displays the existing asset label templates that have been created. Otherwise, the Print Asset Labels button won’t be activated.
Select the 1 label per page option and Print Asset Labels Assets (X) to print 1 label on 1 page.
A printing dialogue with the preview will open on a separate tab, where you can select a printer, All/Custom pages, and the Black and White/Color printing options. Each label with a bar code will show on a separate sheet; you can scroll down and see all the sheets. The labels will show in the same sorting order they were displayed on the Assets page: if they were sorted in ascending order there, the labels will show in ascending order on the preview page. If they were sorted in descending order there, the labels will show in descending order on the preview page.
Selecting the Bulk Label print option will display the selected multiple labels on a single sheet.
A Label Sheet of 8.5 x 11 is supported, where each label is 1 x 2.625 inches.
If one of the components/fields doesn’t exist on an Asset, it will display blank on a label. For example, the Room number for this Asset belonging to Devyn Vazquez from the District Office is absent, so it displays blank on the label.
Below is an example where 35 Assets were selected to print labels. All labels will fit on two label sheets. One sheet fits 30 labels.
If the bulk label print option is selected, the label size will be formatted to fit the Avery label sheet. The height and the width of a label defined on the template only apply when the user chooses the single print (1 label per page option).
The maximum number of assets you can bulk select is 200, as that’s the maximum amount that fits on one page, meaning you can subsequently print out 200 asset labels at a time. The Super-Select option is disabled for printing labels. If you super-select all assets existing on all pages, the Print Asset Labels bulk option will not be available in the Other dropdown.
Printing User Labels
You must have the ‘View Users List & Details’ permission to print User Labels in bulk.
You must have the ‘Manage Users’ permission to print User Labels individually.
Single User Labels
To print a label for a single User, select Print User Label from the Actions dropdown on the User details page.

The Print User Labels window will open.
Next, select a label template from the dropdown list of the existing templates created on the Label Templates page.
Select 1 label per page and Print User Labels (1) to print 1 label on 1 sheet.
A printing dialogue with the preview will open on a separate tab. Select a printer, All/Custom pages, and the Black and White/Color printing options. The label with a barcode will show on a single, separate sheet.
