Bulk Actions
When you select one or more assets in any assets view, a set of options appears beneath the column titles. These are bulk asset operations and are designed to allow you to perform the following on your selected assets quickly:
Move locations
Change status
Other

Bulk Actions
When you select one or more assets in any assets view, a set of options appears beneath the column titles. These are bulk asset operations and are designed to allow you to perform the following on your selected assets quickly:
Move locations
Change status
Other
Moving Locations
To change the locations of your selected assets:
Begin by selecting Move in an assets view. This will open a new pop-up window.
Select the new location of your selected assets from the provided dropdown menu.
Give any additional location details if necessary.
Updating Statuses
To change the status of your selected assets:
Begin by selecting Change Status in an assets view. This will open a new pop-up window.
Select the new status of your selected assets from the provided dropdown menu.
Link to Asset
To update your selected assets’ information field(s) in bulk:
Begin by selecting Other > Link Assets in an assets view. This will open a new pop-up window.
From here, search for the assets’ serial numbers or names to link them.
Changing Asset Information
To update your selected assets’ information field(s) in bulk:
Begin by selecting Other > Set Info in an assets view. This will open a new pop-up window.
You can choose one or more asset information fields to update in bulk.
Once you’ve selected your fields, you can begin to enter the new asset information.
Cloning Assets
To make a clone(s) of your selected assets:
Begin by selecting Other > Clone in an assets view. This will open a new pop-up window.
From here, you can select the number of clones you want to make of each selected asset.
Enter each unit’s asset and serial number information.
Submitting Tickets in Bulk
You can submit bulk tickets by selecting one or more assets and choosing Other > Submit Tickets. This will open a new pop-up window.
From here, you can begin entering the ticket information:
Ticket Issue
The first section will ask for the following details:
Location
Assets
Issue category and the specific issue
Ticket Details
This section will allow you to enter your ticket subject and description.
If you have any custom fields set up for these devices, they will appear here as well.
Workflow Details
This section lets you choose several options to apply to these tickets.
It also lets you choose whether to have rules fire on your submitted tickets.
Note: Choosing this option may override selections specified in the preceding sections of this window.
Alternative Method (Use an existing ticket template):
Click on Use an existing template?
Select your desired template from the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the window.
Delete
To delete your selected assets in bulk:
Begin by selecting Other > Delete in an assets view.
A confirmation pop-up will appear to confirm the changes.
Print Asset Labels
To bulk print asset labels:
Begin by selecting Other > Print Asset Labels in an assets view. This will open a new pop-up window.
Click on Print Asset Labels. This will open a new tab for printing.
If your district does not have the iiQ Assets Module, you can set a default template for asset labels in Site Options. For assistance, refer to the Site Options guide.
Districts with iiQ Assets, iiQ Facilities, or iiQ Resources can print asset labels individually or in bulk using Custom Labels.
Bulk Add Assets to Ticket Template
To add multiple assets to a ticket template at once, choose Other > Add Assets to Ticket Template. The selected assets can be added to an existing or new ticket template.
If the user has permission to "Manage Ticket Templates," they will see the bulk action "Add Assets to Ticket Template on Asset Views" in the drop-down menu.
Adding to an existing ticket template
After selecting the bulk action, click on "Existing ticket template".
Use the drop-down menu or the search to find the specific template you want.
Adding to a new ticket template
Once you’ve chosen the bulk action, select “New ticket template”.
You will be prompted to fill out the available fields for the new template.

Assign/Unassign Spare Pool
To update your selected assets’ information field(s) in bulk:
Begin by selecting Other > Assign/Unassign Spare Pool in an assets view. This will open a new pop-up window.
Select which spare pool to change the assets.
Note:
For an asset to be added to a spare pool, it can’t have an owner, and the asset’s location must match the spare pool’s location.
Spares that are currently checked out must be returned before they can be moved out of a spare pool.
