Resetting My Password

This guide is for users in districts that have the Password Reset App installed. If you are a district admin and would like to learn more, please contact your Incident IQ Sales representative.

The Password Reset app lets you reset your password directly from the Incident IQ login screen. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough of the process.

Best Practices for Password Resets:

  • If the automated password reset options do not work, please contact Technical Support for further assistance.

  • Keep a record of your help ticket number for future reference.


How to Reset Your Password

On the login screen, click the Reset your Password button at the bottom of the page.

You will be taken to the Password Reset page. Here, enter your email address into the search bar.

Once your email address is verified, you can choose your password recovery method.

  • Note: Your district administrator determines the reset methods available to you. The options shown below may not appear on your screen.


How to Submit a Password Reset Request Ticket

If you prefer, you can submit a password reset request ticket on the same page by clicking the Contact Technical Support button.

You will be prompted to enter a brief description of your issue. After you've provided the details, click Submit Help Ticket.

A confirmation message will appear, including your Incident IQ ticket number for your reference.
