When creating or editing an Asset Status in the iiQ Resources module, a toggle option is labeled "Make status available for generic and consumable assets?" This option allows you to specify when the 'Retired' asset status should be applied to non-serialized assets, such as Generic or Consumable items.
The toggle will only be visible if the 'Is Retired' option is ON. By default, it is set to OFF.
When a retired asset status is made available for generic and consumables, it will appear in the Asset Details page's Asset Status dropdown for any Non-serialized Asset.
