Asset Auditing

This feature is only available with the iiQ Assets module.

The Audit Manager formalizes the audit process by allowing you to create and manage multiple, independent audit policies.

Navigation: Administrators and agents can access the Audit Manager by selecting Assets > Audit Manager on the left navigation bar.

  • Customization: Use filters to define the scope of your audits, from broad to narrow.

  • Concurrency: Each policy operates independently, enabling multiple audits to run simultaneously.

  • Reporting: Access powerful reporting tools, including specific fields for report generation and visual statistics that summarize the verification status of all devices under an audit policy.

Permissions

The following permissions will allow users to perform the following actions:

  • Manage Audit Policies: Allow users to view, create, edit, and delete Audit Policies. (Additional permission option required: View Audit Policies List and Details)

  • View Audit Policies List and Details: Reveals Audit Manager on the left navigation.


How to Verify an Asset

Perform a quick audit to verify asset information stored in the system by following these steps:

  1. Locate Tab: Navigate to the asset and click the Verifications/Audits tab.

  2. Initiate: Click the Add Verification button.

  3. Process: A pop-up window will appear.

  4. Confirm: Review location information and add optional comments if necessary.

  5. Save: Once saved, the new verification will appear in the Verifications timeline.
