iiQ Events - FAQ - What is the Event ID and where does it show in the iiQ Events module?

The Event ID is unique to each event and cannot be changed, ensuring consistency even when event details are modified.

The Event ID will not change on the original event when converting an event from a single event to a custom series.

However, the event ID is not editable; if a user tries to edit this field, an error message will appear saying “Event ID cannot be changed once set.”

The Event ID can be viewed in multiple places to easily track, reference, and manage tasks across departments for each event.

  • Tickets associated with events in the Event Details widget maintain a consistent Event ID across all related tickets, even if details such as Title or Time are modified later.
