The Event ID is unique to each event and cannot be changed, ensuring consistency even when event details are modified.
The Event ID will not change on the original event when converting an event from a single event to a custom series.
However, the event ID is not editable; if a user tries to edit this field, an error message will appear saying “Event ID cannot be changed once set.”
The Event ID can be viewed in multiple places to easily track, reference, and manage tasks across departments for each event.
Tickets associated with events in the Event Details widget maintain a consistent Event ID across all related tickets, even if details such as Title or Time are modified later.
Emails pertaining to events are included in the Event Summary section at the end of each event title.
All email notifications related to an event—such as Event Request ticket emails, custodial and IT setup ticket emails, and "Send Email to User" templates in the Rules section—include the event ID in both the subject line and the body.
You can easily search your inbox using the event ID to locate all related communications.
In Filters > Event Filters > Event, when selecting the filter for an individual Event, you can filter by an Event ID in the Search Events field.
