Consumables do not have a designated location until you add them to your inventory. First, you need to create a record for the non-serialized asset. In the second import, when you add the inventory, you can specify the location of that inventory in iiQ, and it will be assigned accordingly.
For example, if you are tracking calculators without barcodes and keeping them in bulk, you must first create a record for them. Then, you can import the inventory, indicating that there are 10 calculators at the elementary school and 50 at the high school. The calculator record will not initially have a location, but you can see the number of calculators in each location by clicking on the Inventory tab.
